Catholics often say we can offer our suffering as a sacrifice to God in exchange for salvation for ourselves and others. At the same time, we are told that salvation is a free gift from God. Are these two sayings contradictory?
If wine is truly transformed to Blood during Eucharist, why would “someone cannot consume wine because of health reasons” become one of the problems when receiving the sacrament? Doesn’t transformed wine become non-wine oriented?

I know that the Church is against abortion. However, what if the child inside you will have a suffering life because of his disabilities? Won’t the mom and the child be better-off with an abortion?
It is now my understanding that this “saint” which Jesus had asked all of us to strive for differs from the “Saint” that I was confused with whom are “Canonized” through Church.
救恩是指在基督再來時,所有或生或死的人都要接受公審判,那時才是所謂的救恩時刻, 還是救恩只是一個統稱, 旨在說明要信靠天主就能獲得救恩? 那麼在舊約時代的人,已死的人是否已先在天國享福樂? 然後等待基督再來時,才是真正救恩之時呢?
Where in the Bible does it tell us it’s ok to pray to dead saints or the dead mother of Jesus? I only see where we can pray to God through Jesus and nobody else.
