Protestants like to ask Catholics why we pray ‘repetitious prayer’ like the Rosary and quote that Jesus said not to pray ‘vain repetitions’ in Matthew 6:7? How should we respond?
Jesus never told us to pray to Mary. Jesus is the great intercessor and we prayed to him as the great intercessor to reach God. Nowhere in the Bible it says to pray to Mary. If it’s not in the Bible and we should not believe it. You can hope and pray to the Saints and Mary is more powerful but that’s just my belief that is not biblical.
Why do we need to pray? Do praying really help us?

信經有2個版本，一個是在彌撒用的，較為長一點; 一個是在玫瑰經用的，較為短一點。但是天主經則只有一個版本，在彌撒和玫瑰經用的，都是一樣。為什麼信經不簡化為一個版本，如天主經一樣？
